353 exists because one man lived with courage, wisdom and an unbreakable spirit. That spirit now fuels everything we do. We honour Conrad by standing with those who stand, and have stood, for all of us.
Our mission is simple: to make a real, lasting difference to the military community. We raise funds for charities whose impact is powerful and personal, including Support Our Paras, Nowzad Animal Charity, and Troop Aid.
Support Our Paras is the merger of The Paracharity and the Afghanistan Trust. It provides vital help for past and present members of the Parachute Regiment and their families, relieving need, hardship and distress when life becomes overwhelming. Their work stretches from mobility support and training for future employment to covering accommodation and transport costs for families visiting the wounded, or for the bereaved attending remembrance services. It’s practical, immediate, and human – exactly the kind of support Conrad believed in.
But 353 is more than the charities we support. It is the people.
We provide direct grants and donations to individuals of the Parachute Regiment, helping them face whatever stands in their way, often as a result of conflict. Through the 353 Wellbeing Fund, we stand beside soldiers navigating mental health challenges, addiction, or the long shadow that conflict can cast. Sometimes support looks like specialist treatment; sometimes it’s a simple act that changes a life—like reversing door hinges so a veteran can move freely and reclaim independence in their own home.
Over the years, your generosity has helped create a treatment room in Fisher House, an animal clinic in Kabul, and provided training equipment for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Each act of support, large or small, is a reminder that 353 is not a full stop. It is momentum. It is rebuilding. It is getting up when everything around you falls.
This is who we support. This is why we keep going.
And until the reorg… we get busy living.
